ITLG — Not Meant to Be Sold. Meant to Be Held.
The number on your screen is not an asset. Here's what ITLG actually is
Most people misread InterLink from the very first screen.
They open the app. They see numbers climbing. They assume those numbers are money — and they start planning what to spend it on.
That assumption is not just wrong. It reveals a fundamental misunderstanding of what this system is designed to do. The architecture tells you exactly what ITLG is — if you know how to read it.
🔢 The Number on Your Screen Is Not a Token
When you mine through the InterLink app, you accumulate ITLG points. Thousands of them, sometimes tens of thousands. They feel like a balance. They feel like something you own.
Strictly speaking, they are not— not yet.
Raw ITLG is not an asset. It is a claim — unverified, unanchored, and economically inert until the system decides otherwise. It has not moved to any blockchain. It carries no governance weight, no staking power, no conversion rights.
It is a record of participation, nothing more.
Think of it this way. You spend a year collecting sand from a beach. The effort was real. The time was real. But sand is not gold — and volume alone does not change that.
Raw ITLG is the sand.
Verification is the process that decides how much of it becomes gold.
⏳ The Filter: What Verification Actually Does
InterLink’s verification layer is built around the Human Credit System — HCS. And HCS does something the crypto industry has largely never attempted: it qualifies participation before it becomes economic reality.
Verification is not conversion. It is qualification.
The filter works like a sieve. High HCS — built through consistent daily participation, Security Group membership, wallet activity, and behavioral continuity — enables more of your raw points to pass through.
Your sand becomes Verified ITLG. Your effort becomes an asset with actual on-chain weight.
Low HCS means most of it doesn’t pass. The mining happened. The output didn’t.
InterLink’s design does not reward accumulation.
It rewards alignment.
The system was built to tell the difference — because most crypto systems reward what’s easy to count, and what’s easy to count is easy to fake.
HCS exists as the structural answer to that failure.
🏛️ Verified ITLG: What You’re Actually Holding
Once your ITLG passes verification, the asset changes in kind — not just in status.
Verified ITLG carries governance rights and a claim to $ITL generation. And this is where most participants make their second mistake: they treat it like a liquid asset to be spent rather than a structural position to be held.
Verified ITLG is not designed to be spent.
It is designed to generate.
The system allocates $ITL — InterLink's liquid utility token — to participants who hold their Verified ITLG. Your base asset remains intact. The rewards accumulate on top of it.
Listing your Verified ITLG on an OTC market is not cashing out. It is dismantling the machine to sell the parts.
Killing the goose to get all the eggs at once.
You get something now. You forfeit everything after.
🔀 Two Tokens, Two Roles
InterLink runs on two separate tokens with two separate functions.
The separation is architectural — and it solves a problem most crypto systems never seriously addressed.
Verified ITLG functions like equity. Governance rights, DAO participation, ongoing reward claims. It persists when you earn from it. You hold it because holding it entitles you to future value.
$ITL functions like a dividend. Liquid, spendable, designed for real-world utility: payments, transaction fees, DeFi activity, exchange. Generated by your Verified ITLG — not extracted from it.
You do not trade one for the other.
You hold the first to receive the second.
Markets reward liquidity. InterLink rewards qualification. That is not a philosophical nuance. It is a different theory of what value means in a network economy.
🎯 What This Means for How You Mine
You are not accumulating points toward a payout. You are building a position — one whose long-term yield is determined by how seriously you participated before verification.
Every session completed, every Security Group interaction, every on-chain action through the Super Wallet — these are inputs into the HCS filter that determines how much of your raw effort survives, and how efficiently your Verified ITLG generates $ITL afterward.
The difference between participants who understand this and those who don’t will not be explainable by luck or timing.
It will be explainable by what passed through the sieve.
Sand stays sand. Gold is not found. It is earned — through a filter that was designed, from the beginning, to know the difference.
ITLG is not what you mine.
It is what you build — until the filter decides it's ready.
